These animations, very much inspired by the work of Terry Gilliam (Monty Python), were part of the NUA film series. They're part of an episode in which some of the alternative theories about Jesus’ death and resurrection are explored.
It was good fun (and surprisingly difficult!) to find good source material for this piece. Most of the images are old renaissance paintings chopped up and rearranged to illustrate the various scenarios. Crudely manipulating 'serious' paintings is always a lot of fun!
